Setting Up WebTV Classic
1) From the WebTV home page, select 'Setup' from the sidebar.
2) Select 'Dialing'.
3) Select 'Use your own ISP.'.
4) If this option does not appear, call WebTV at 1-800-GO-WebTV to activate OpenISP
5) If a box appears with information about OpenISP, click 'Continue'.
6) Continue reading, and click 'Continue'.
7) Continue reading, and click 'Continue'.
8) Click the checkbox to activate OpenISP.
9) Enter 'KCOnline.com' for 'Service provider name'.
10) Enter your userid in the box labeled 'Login name'.
11) If you don't know what your user name is, refer to the sign-up information that you received when your account was created.
12) Enter your dial-up password in the box labeled 'password'.
13) If you don't know what your password is, refer to the sign-up information that you received when your account was created.
14) Select 'Continue'.
15) Enter dial-up phone numbers that are local to you in the boxes labeled primary and backup modem dial-up numbers.
16) If you don't know what number to use, refer to the sign-up information that you received when your account was created.
17) Select 'Done'.
18) WebTV will connect one last time to the WebTV network. A confirmation screen will appear. Select 'Use your ISP'. WebTV will re-dial and connect to KCOnline.com.
Setting Up WebTV Plus
1) From the WebTV home page, select 'Using WebTV' from the sidebar.
2) Select 'Dialing and Connecting'.
3) Select 'Use your ISP.'.
4) If this option does not appear, call WebTV at 1-800-GO-WebTV to activate OpenISP
5) If a box appears with information about OpenISP, click 'Continue'.
6) Continue reading, and click 'Continue'.
7) Continue reading, and click 'Continue'.
8) Click the checkbox to activate OpenISP.
9) Enter 'KCOnline.com' for 'Service provider name'.
10) Enter your dial-up user name in the box labeled 'Login name'.
11) If you don't know what your user name is, refer to the sign-up information that you received when your account was created.
12) Enter your dial-up password in the box labeled 'password'.
13) If you don't know what your password is, refer to the sign-up information that you received when your account was created.
14) Select 'Continue'.
15) Enter dial-up phone numbers that are local to you in the boxes labeled primary and backup modem dial-up numbers.
16) If you don't know what number to use, refer to the sign-up information that you received when your account was created.
17) Select 'Done'.
18) WebTV will connect one last time to the WebTV network. A confirmation screen will appear. Select 'Use your ISP'. WebTV will re-dial and connect to KCOnline.com.
