1) Click on the Start Menu in the lower left hand corner. Next click on Programs, then click on Internet Explorer, finaly click on Connection Wizard.
2) A window will open, introducing you to the connection wizard and asking you the type of connection you wish to set up. Select the middle option, (I have an exisitng internet account...) by click the white circle next to it. Then click the Next button.
3) On the next screen of the wizard select the top option, (access the Internet using an Internet service provider) and then click on the next button.
4) On the next screen select the top option (Connect using my phone line) and then click the next button.
5) On this screen make sure that the first option (Create a new dial up connection) is selected, then clickon the next button to move on.
6) This screen of the wizard asks you what phone number you would like your computer to dial. Please enter the area code and the access number for the number that is local to you. (access numbers)
7) On this page you will need to enter the Username and Password that you chose when you signed up for our service, these both should be entered in all lowercase letters with no spaces. Click the next button to move on.
8) On the Advantage Settings Page please select the option that reads YES, and click the next button to continue.
9) On the Connectiong Type Page, please select the option that says PPP (point to point protocol) and click the next button to continue.
10) On the Logon Procedure Page, please select the option that says I don't need to type anything when logging on. Click the next button.
11) On the IP Address Page select the option that says My Internet Service Provider automatically assigns me one. Click next to continue.
12) On the DNS Server Address Page select the option that says always use the following, in the two provided boxes enter these two numbers. Then click the next button

13) On the Dial up Connection Page Type KC Online in the Connection Name box. Click the next button to continue.
14) On the Set up your E-mail Account Page select the option that says YES, then click the net button to continue.
15) On this page select the top option (create a new internet mail account) and click on the next button.
16) Now type in your First and Last name in the Display name box, then click the next button to continue.
17) On this page you will need to enter your e-mail address. Enter your e-mail address as it appears on your sign up sheet. It should be in the following format. YourUserID@kconline.com.
There should not be and spaces in your e-mail address.
18) On the e-mail server page fill in the blanks as follows:
Incoming Mail Server: pop3.kconline.com
Outgoing Mail Server: smtp.kconline.com
Click the next button to move on.
19) On this page make sure that the "Log On Using" option is selected. In the POP Account name enter your username/user ID. In the password blank, enter the password that your chose when you signed up. Click the next button.
20) On the Friendly Name Page, the box should read either "kconline".
21) On the next page Selecct the option that reads NO, (if you wish to set up an Internet News account at a later date please contact our Technical Support Staff). Click the next button to continue.
22) On this page also select the NO option and click the next button.
23) Now click the Finish button. Your computer is now setup to access the Internet through KC Online!
