| 1) First press on your 'Start' button
located usually on the lower left corner of your monitor.
2) The move your mouse over the 'Connect To' option. You
will now see all of your Dial up connections. Right click on
the KC Online dial up connection, and left click on the
option labeled 'Properties'.

| 3) What you should now see are the 'General'
settings for your KC Online connection properties. Verifty
that you are dialing the correct local phone number for your
area, and then select the tab labeled 'Options'. 4) You
will now see a window that looks like the image to the right
of this text. Verify that your settings look the same as
these here in the image. |

| 5) Next click on the tab labeled 'Security'.
6) Verify that the 'Typical' option is selected and that all
the settings look like the settings in the image to the
right of this text.

| 7) Next click on the tab labeled
'Networking'. Your settings here might look diffrent then
what is in the image to the right. That is "Ok". 8) Just
verify that you have 'Client for Microsoft Networks' and
'Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)'. Then highlight 'Internet
Protocol (TCP/IP)', and press the button labeled
'Properties'. |

| 9) In the Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)
Properties verify that your settings are the same as what is
in the image to the right. 10) The DNS servers should be
216.241.132.3 & 216.241.132.2. If your settings are diffrent,
please correct this and then press 'Ok'.
11) Also go ahead and press 'Ok' on the properties
windows for your KC Online dial up connection |
